Secret Treasure (2024)

The Secret Treasures are chest blocks and plushies hidden across various Stages in Build A Boat For Treasure. To collect a Secret Treasure, the player must find and touch the chest or plushie, or complete a required minigame.

There are currently 4 types of Secret Treasures:

• Small Treasures can be found in stages that require the completion of simple tasks to obtain.
• Medium Treasures, also known as King Chests, can be found in stages that require the completion of tasks for most of them.
• Large Treasures, also known as Winged Chests, can be found in stages that require the completion of more difficult tasks to obtain them.
• Plushies can be found in Stages and require the completion of tasks to obtain them.

The chests can also be obtained by entering a new stage. They also have the highest amount of hitpoints out of all of the chest blocks.

Below lists the current set of Secret Treasures in the game.

Note that some Secret Treasure Chests have been moved or removed.

Treasure locations[]

Medium Treasure (#1)[]

Found inside a TV after completing a mini-game. The minigame can be initiated by clicking the lower red button on the joystick next to the TV. The minigame makes the player dodge falling red blocks. Large Treasure (#2)[]

Found in a secret area at the top of the biggest waterfall on the left side of the stage. To obtain it, the player must click the berries in order of blue, white, white or blue, blue, white. Small Treasure (#3)[]

Medium Treasure (#4)[]

Crystal Cave Stage	4 Portals 200 Gold 1 Medium Treasure
Shoot 2 of each color of crystal on the wall until Lasers teleport the player into the secret area. If another player wishes to enter while someone else is already inside, they only need to shoot 1 crystal. In the secret area, the player needs to collect 3 crystals in a maze of portals and bring them back to the stands. The order in which to get the crystals are: The yellow portal, orange portal, and then the pink portal for the yellow crystal. The green portal then the grey portal for the orange crystal. The yellow portal, cyan portal, and then the black portal for the white crystal. The player needs to put each crystal in a container in the center area to make the chest appear after an animation. Plushie 2 (#5)[]

Plushie 3 (#6)[]

Activate the switch on the left clock tower which is behind the tower. The door is only open for 5 minutes after the clock strikes the hour, otherwise it remains closed. As water fades, the player can jump into the hole, and Plushie 3 is to be found in front of a pipe organ. Behaviour of water after switch activated. Plushie 3 in front of a pipe organ.

Medium Treasure (#7)[]

To get access to the chest, the player needs to shoot a barricade on the right side of the stage with a cannon or a Hand Cannon.

Large Treasure (#8)[]

Blow up the drawbridge on the left side of the stage with a Cannon, then complete the Noob Attack mini-game

Plushie 4 (#9)[]

Arcade Stage	1 Plushie 4
Win the Arcade Light Game on the left side of the stage. The player has to click the button when the yellow light is between the two red rings. There is no punishment for missing the light. Players standing at the button will not be shot at by the Space Invaders. Pink Candy and a Jetpack are helpful to reach the platform. Alternatively, 3 Plushie 4s can be obtained from the game Project Zeg by defeating the Zeg boss. The minigame which rewards Plushie 4.

Removed Treasures[]

Over time, some Secret Treasures have been removed from the game, often coinciding with a revamp of its stage.

Small Treasure (#1)[]

Found on the left bank behind one of the red flowers towards the middle of the stage. After it had been collected, it used to give the player 20 Gold.

Small Treasure (#2)[]

Small Treasure (#4)[]

After the water sinks it can be seen on a small raised sand pillar that is located in the middle section when the water recedes.

Small Treasure (#5)[]

Found in barn on the furthest left side of the stage. To the left of the window, the Small Treasure is there beside a barrel.

Small Treasure (#6)[]

Found between two palm trees on the left bank of the stage. If there is a player with a Jetpack in the stage, there will be an invisible wall preventing any players obtaining the chest unless they come from above.

Small Treasure (#7)[]

Touch all bowling pins at the end of the stage.

Small Treasure (#8)[]

Click the top left branch of a tree to the right of the middle spawn point. A wall will open up, revealing the treasure. It was a memorial for Orange Team.

Trivia[]

• It was first revealed on 02/08/19 on the Chillz Studios Discord.
• The model first appeared in Chillthrill709's inventory on 2/8/19.
• Players were required to solve a secret message from a question mark icon in the Shop. When clicked on enough, it tells the player, “BREAK BRANCH ON PINK TEAM” which gave the very first Secret Treasure.
• If the player had already collected Secret Treasure chests before the new chests came out, they were able to re-collect all of the rewards, resulting in nearly double the old rewards (e.g. obtaining the old Crystal Cave Stage chest and the new Crystal Cave Stage chest will result in the player having 8 Portals).
• When the game updated at 06/20/20, the ability to open chests again for a lesser reward was removed.
• In the past, Secret Treasure Chest #16 was broken for unknown reasons.
• Originally, Medium Treasure #4 used to have 4 Portals, and Plushie 3 was the Secret Treasure holding the Golden Harpoons, this would mean the player could have 8 portals, this was changed.
